Vicious Dog Stature
In the state of New Mexico it is illegal to keep any animal including dogs that are known to be vicious and likely to attack or injure individuals. Unless the pet is kept safely preventing harm to others. Dog owners will be liable to fines of up to $500 if a pet harms another individual or causes damage to one’s property including defecation.
