Public Nuisance Laws
North Dakota has multiple public nuisance laws in place for all pets including dogs which gives individuals the right to complain of continuous noise past 9pm and the owners facing fees upwards of $70 per complaint.
General Liability Stature.
Dangerous behavior by dogs and all other pets in North Dakota are governed under a typical general liability stature meaning once injury by a dog or other pet is proven by an individual they have the right to claim damages by the owner.
